Terms of Use and Sale
1. About us and these terms
These terms apply whenever you use quiz.inboxed.online, inboxed.online, tools.inboxed.online or any Inboxed service, and by using them you agree to these terms.
The services are provided by AOPA Solutions Ltd, trading as inboxed.online, a company registered in Scotland (company number SC878254). Our address is 2/3, 48 West George St, Glasgow G2 1BP. Email: hello@aopasolutions.com.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the sites or buy from us.
2. Information only: please read this first
Everything on quiz.inboxed.online and inboxed.online is provided for information only. It is not professional, technical or legal advice, and it is not tailored to your systems.
Quiz scores and check results come from automated tests of public DNS data and from answers you give yourself. They can be incomplete or out of date, and they cannot see your sending platform, content, list or reputation in full.
Do not take any action based on our results, including changing DNS records, authentication settings, sending practices or lists, or buying anything, until you have carried out your own further investigation and, where appropriate, taken qualified advice. Changes to DNS or email settings can stop your email from working, so back up your existing records first. You act at your own risk.
3. Free tools: the quiz, the deliverability check and tools.inboxed.online
The quiz, the deliverability check and the tools at tools.inboxed.online are free unless a tool says otherwise. Some tools need a free account. We may change, limit or withdraw them at any time.
Only check domains you own or are authorised to check. We may apply rate limits and block use that looks automated or abusive.
The checks read publicly available DNS records. We do not access your mailboxes. Where a tool asks you to enter or connect sending data, we use it only to run that tool. Results are a snapshot at the time of the check and are not a guarantee of how your email will be treated by any mailbox provider.
4. Paid services: Teardown and Done-With-You
Teardown. A recorded walkthrough and prioritised fix list for one domain. You must complete a deliverability check for that domain first. We aim to deliver within 48 hours of payment, but that is a target, not a promise.
Done-With-You. A hands-on engagement. After purchase we book an onboarding call and confirm scope and start date by email. The engagement covers one domain and runs for 3 months from the start date. It includes DNS and authentication implementation, IP warmup strategy and execution, list hygiene and suppression setup, ESP sending configuration, and ongoing check-ins during that period. To do the work you must give us admin access to your email autoresponder platform and to your domain registrar for your email sending domain. You confirm you are entitled to grant that access, and you should remove it when the work ends.
We do not guarantee inbox placement, sender reputation, delivery rates, revenue or any other outcome. Email delivery depends on many factors outside our control, including mailbox providers' own decisions.
The course and digital add-ons. Digital content is made available online after purchase. It is for your own use only and may not be shared or resold. Done-For-You setup is an optional add-on to the course, where we do the technical setup for you for a one-off fee.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars (we are not currently registered for VAT, so none is added). Payment is taken at checkout by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.
A contract for a paid service is formed when we confirm your order by email. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if the price was shown in error, and will refund you in full if we do.
6. Cancellation and refunds
If you are a consumer (buying for purposes outside your business), you have 14 days from purchase to cancel a service contract. If you ask us to start the work within that period, which checkout will ask you to confirm, you agree that once the service is fully delivered you lose the right to cancel. If you cancel after we have started but before we finish, you pay for what we have done up to then.
If you are buying for a business, you have no statutory right to cancel.
Digital content (the course). If you are a consumer, you have 14 days to cancel a digital content purchase. You lose that right once access begins, provided you asked for immediate access and acknowledged this at checkout. If digital content is faulty or not as described, you keep your legal right to a repair, replacement or refund.
Our refund terms. Teardown: you can ask for a full refund at any time before the walkthrough has been delivered. Once delivered, we do not refund unless we failed to provide it with reasonable care and skill. Done-With-You: you can ask for a full refund before work begins, or a 50% refund after work has begun. Done-For-You setup (the course add-on): a refund is available only before work begins.
This section does not affect any rights you have by law, including if a service is not provided with reasonable care and skill.
7. Your responsibilities and acceptable use
You must give accurate information, use the services lawfully, and only submit domains and data you are entitled to submit.
You must not attack, overload or probe our sites, scrape them at scale, resell our results, or use the tools to investigate domains you have no right to check.
You are responsible for any changes you make to your own systems and for keeping backups. If you create an account, keep your login details secure and tell us if you think it has been misused.
8. Intellectual property
We own, or are licensed to use, all content on our sites and in our deliverables, including recordings, reports and quiz content.
When you buy a paid service, you may use the deliverables for your own business. You may not resell, republish or share them publicly without our written permission.
9. What we do not promise
The sites and free tools are provided "as is". We do not promise they will be available at all times, error-free, or that results are accurate, complete or suitable for your situation.
We make no promise that following our results or recommendations will improve deliverability, avoid spam folders or produce any business result.
10. Limits on our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.
Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, or for indirect or consequential loss, including loss arising from changes you make to your DNS or email systems.
Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose, or, for free tools, to £1.
11. Marketing emails and your data
If you agree when you give us your details, we will send you your results and follow-up emails about email deliverability. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
We will never sell your contact details or share them with anyone for their own marketing. We do use advertising tools from Google and Meta, only with your consent, as described in our Privacy Policy.
How we collect and use personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
12. Third-party services and links
We use third parties such as Stripe for payments and hosting and email providers to run the sites. Their own terms apply to their services. Our sites may link to other websites, and we are not responsible for their content.
13. Changes and events outside our control
We may update these terms and will post the new version here with its date. Changes do not affect a service you have already bought.
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as outages of internet, hosting or payment providers.
14. General
These terms are the whole agreement between you and us about the services. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by Scots law, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK you may also bring proceedings in your home courts.
